BAD NOISE FOR BAD MOTHERFUCK'RS!

THE FLAMING TSUNAMIS - Fear Everything (2006)

Ska and Hardcore band from New Haven County, Connecticu. After six years of packed American Legions and VFW halls, the ska-core veterans turned their sights onto a broader style, hence creating Fear Everything.Rather than just combining ska upstroke and horns with breakdowns, TFT threw everything into the mix; freestyle Jazz, Reggae, strong Metal riffs and even a bit of Grindcore. Upon reading this, you're probably thinking "All of that mixed together probably sounds like ***" but one would be surprised upon their first listen...

Furious hyper speed Finn-Core attack from 80's worshiping Swedes! A complete alcohol fueled nihilistic wave of destruction! Imagine the best of early Finnish hardcore filtered thru the meanest Sweden has to offer, and you come close to Rajoitus. This is a 41 track collection compiling their "Hardcore Attack '95" 12" and 3x 7"EPs; 43:02 total running time. SS-KALIERT - Addiction (2009)

SS-Kaliert started as a 4-piece in April 2003 in the Ruhrpott region of Germany. After changing bassplayers the band startet gigging heavily in Germany which caught the attention of Kassierer Wölfi who put out the bands first 7" "STAND UP & FIGHT". The Band added a 2nd guitarplayer & played even more live all over Europe. From 2006 up to now SS-KALIERT played 2 US tours, 2 Full European tours, a Japan tour & has played almost everywhere in Europe. SS-KALIERT is not a racist, fascist, nationalist, patriotic or nazi-band, neither is S(SKA)LIERT a SKA band, or preach any kind of politics in their songs. This is 100% streetcore brainwash!

One of the most legendary Finnish ‘82 style Hardcore Punk bands. Formed spring 1978 and played songs just for fun The name guys was taken from the first Lp of THE STRANGLERS, "Rattus Norvegicus". ZUDAS KRUST - Raw Punk Inferno (2008)

Zudas Krust started on the spring of 2008, with the line up: Erms as sang, Jarwoitus as guitar, and Sances666 as tremor. On March of 2008, they giving out free demo, “Raw Demo” during their shows. But not so long after that, Agipunx joined the band as a bassist. On June of 2008, Erms left the band, and changed the line-up to: Jarwoitus on bass and vocals, Agipunx on guitars, and Sances666 on drums. Their new album you can find on my second blog Cheerokie Sound. From those bands, Zudas Krust explore the rawness and aggresiveness of punx, and call themselves, a raw hardcore band.

INSTANT AGONY - Fashion Parade & Think of England (2xEP)

This is one of those bands from the UK in the early 80's that was lost in the changing music industry..... Great obnoxious Hardcore/Punk that really has that DIY feel to it. These reformed U.K.82 punkers continue on with their campaign to prove that old bands giving it another go really doesn't have to be a painful exercise. Here is my uploud 2X Instant Agony EP's ''Fashion Parade'' from '83. and ''Think of England''. Enjoy! Btw, New album ''Exploatation'' out now on Be Afraid Records..

UNHOLY - New Life Behind Closed Eyes (2009)

“If there was a purpose, we’re here to destroy everything around us, we’re here to destroy the planet, and every form of life that walks this earth.” Band activily began in 2006 with the release of their debut EP “Awaken The Sleep”. Unholy view humanity as a cancer, a fungus that will devour all in sight and, once all has been consumed, ultimately itself. Their last album “Life Behind Closed Eyes” will grab you from within the same way death draws you nearer to it on a daily basis. If you like Suicide Silence, Death Before Dishonor, 100 Demons, Ringworm, Shadows Fall, Ministry, you like and this guys.

LIVING HELL - Oblivion (2009)

Living Hell have been a ravenous force in the Connecticut/Boston Hardcore scene for the last 4 years. LH fuse a sound of pestilent Hardcore combined with raw metallic overtones which set the structure for their message of holy terrorism and human damnation. Having released their first full length record “The Lost and The Damned” on Revelation Records almost a year ago, Living Hell are gearing up to release their Eulogy debut in the Summer of Living Hell's second album, is a clear and definitive progression from their debut record, "The Lost And The Damned." Combining Hardcore, Punk, Thrash and Black Metal, "Oblivion" is truly a unique and moving record. For fans of Slayer, and Integrity.

THE NERVE AGENTS - Days of the White Owl (2000)

16 track debut from the Nerve Agents combines their Punk and Hardcore influences such as Youth Of Today, Black Flag, and Circle Jerks with 7 Seconds, the Cro-Mags and Cause For Alarm, to form a sound all their own. 2000 release. They're gonna arbitrarily swab on the mascara and sing about how screwed-up life is in Portland, Oregon. It's "punk" to hate stuff. It's also "punk" to have these faux macho photos of your band rocking out at Gilman, or some place that looks similar. Nowadays, punk bands make a living hating society. Non-conformism ready for you to purchase, when you get back from buying your Hatebreed t-shirt at the mall.

TOXIC NARCOTIC - Toxic Narcotic 89-99

Toxic Narcotic formed out of Boston, MA in the summer of 1989 as a three piece with Bill Damon on bass and lead vocals, Will Sullivan on guitar and vocals, and Kevin Barnello on drums. Toxic Narcotic is a political band but we claim no specific political philosophy or ideology except for an extreme dedication to the ideals of the DIY lifestyle in general! Toxic Narcotic was formed with the intent of mixing our favorite elements of punk and hardcore into an original sound with some intelligent lyrics. This mix of brutal music with extremely energetic shows. The band’s lyrics are full of hatred towards the ignorance, greed and cruelty of humanity and its effects on nature and the environment!

MASSGRAVE - Survival Of The Richest (2004)

Massgrave, are a four piece DIY anarchist Crustcore band from the bowels of Vancouver, Canada. Not Bulgarian DM Mass Grave ;) Following legendary predecessors like Disrupt, as well as Doom and Warcollapse, Massgrave is a strong advocate of world peace, being anti-war, pro-marijuana, pro-animal liberation, and anti-class oppression. In 2003, Massgrave released their first EP Survival of the Richest, on Barrage of Salt Records out of Seattle, and toured the US and Canada for 6 weeks. Here is 6 fantastic songs, take it...

ANTIMELODIX - Hellfuck (2009)

Great Crust / Punk / Metal from North-West of Russia! The band Antimelodix was founded in 2006 by members of different punk, hardcore, metal and noise bands. The band changed its line-up several times during all this time. During the first 3 years they have been taking part in some local punk gigs in our hometown Petrozavodsk, later in november 2008 we visited Lithuania and Poland, it was a dangerous trip, because they've crushed van and some shows were cancelled. Shit happens! Active nihilism and strong quality sound!

VIRULENCE - A Conflict Scenario (2001)

Probably the only band on Morbid records from Boston USA, Virulence's origins say far more about their chosen musical direction than does their choice of record label. A Conflict Scenario may be among the most "death metal" of noisecore/metalcore records, but it most certainly is manically experimental in that manner and sonic atmosphere that is not in even semi-traditional death metal territory. Speed-switching drastically and frequently seems to be Virulence's "big gun" when it comes to sonic battery; the jagged, frantic and manic feel of _A Conflict Scenario_ will likely mean conservative listeners give up after less than one spin of this twenty-six minute disc.

STRAIGHT OPPOSITION - Step By Step (2006)

Aggressive political antifascist Hardcore from Pescara, Italy. Born in late 2003 by Luca , Ivan ( drums ) and Ivan ( vocals ) the band started to create songs inspired by the new school of american hardcore bands like Turmoil , Biohazard , Downset , Helmet , Snapcase but mixing the positive attitude of bands of the old school like Youth of today , Better Than a Thousand and many more. In the fall 2005 the band comes to KUTSO NOISE HOME in Roma to register "Map of the etnies" , this song will appear on the PUNKSTER'S compilation. After this the band come again in the same studio to register the first full lenght called "Step By Step", out for INDELIRIUM RECORDS

NEUROTIC ARSEHOLES - Bis Zum Bitteren Ende (1998)

Cooooooooool!! :) The Neurotic Arseholes were a German Punk band from the town Minden, active from the beginnng to the mid of the 80s. This is the re-issue of their fist LP. They mostly sang in German but also some songs in English. The songs on this album represent a fast melodic catchy style that makes the album to one of the most popular punk releases in Germany although the lyrics are often depressive. The band managed to release a 2nd album in 1985 called “Angst”. It did not reach the popularity of the first one. The band broke up short time later.

MASTIC SCUM - Mind (2005)

Mastic Scum was founded 1992, inspired of the Deathmetal and Hardcore scene of the early `90 s. The idea was to create own music influenced by different styles. Sound is based on massive, grooving rhythm with kickass blast attacks and catchy midtempo parts. We were (and are) a four man combo - drums, bass, guitar and vocals - making music in a true way. In 1993 we got a deal with the German label "Rodel Records" which released our first 12” EP "Ephemeral Cerebral Butchery" (4 studio tracks). This was the start of a long, successful period of upcoming releases on different labels. Without pandering to trends, or losing the thread, MASTIC SCUM continue to demonstrate their mission.

MORTIFER - Proleće Je Stiglo (2007)

From MySpace: ''In the spring of 2006 former members of Nakot Nevena & Boris and two members of Dylan Dog Dejana & Marko, came to an idea.... /you know what/ First rehersal in the summer. First gig... hm... maybe winter/spring 20000007, have to check it out .....hm... nothin... nobody died since then, had a couple of gigs, and that's it... chillin'...'' Dark, apocaliptyc Crustcore like a Amebix, but more fast and agressive... with pretty anarcho lyrics on serbian.

FILTH OF MANKIND - The Final Chapter CD (2001)

Filth of Mankind was formed in early 1996 in Gdansk, Poland. Some of the members played also in a few other bands at that time: etc. Forming F.O.M. they wanted to focus on the heavier and darker sound to illustrate the lyrics about subject as old and cliche as still urgent and annoying - such as politicians swindles , brutality of their thugs in uniforms, the madness of neverending consumption, poverty of the living as a cog in the capitalist machine or sick moral standards force fed since our birth and leading to lack of tolerance, respect or understanding any forms of diversity. Another important part of F.O.M.’s lyrical content are visions of the apocalypse, towards which in our opinion, the humankind unavoidably goes. Definitly recommend!

MINISTRY - Psalm 69 (1992)

Ministry popularized industrial-metal by injecting large doses of punky, over-the-top aggression and roaring heavy metal guitar riffs that helped their music find favor with metal and alternative audiences outside of industrial’s cult fan base. That’s not to say Ministry had a commercial or generally accessible sound: they were unremittingly intense, abrasive, pounding, and repetitive, and not always guitar-oriented (samples, synthesizers, and tape effects were a primary focus just as often as guitars and distorted vocals). This is (my opinion) the best album of the band, included their best song ever ''Jesus Buid My Hotrod''.

EXTINCTION OF MANKIND - Northern Scum (2007)

Extinction of Mankind is a UK crust punk band formed in 1992. The original line up consisted of Ste (vocals), Mass (guitar), Fozzy (bass), and Foz (drums). With plenty of practices and gigs under their belt, their first split EP with Warcollapse was released at the end of 1993. The next split EP with Doom was released in 1994. The Weakness EP was also released in 1994 and a tour of Europe with Doom was undertaken. Thats the moments when EOM step on legends club! Definitly my Top 5 band for the all time!

BLEEDING THROUGH - The Truth (2006)

Bleeding Through is a Hardcore-Metal (not fucking ''metalcore'') band out of O.C, California and was formed in 1999. Bleeding Through is trying to be the truth in hardcore roots. This is the band’s defining album of 2006. ''The Truth'' finishes surprisingly with a brooding, atmospheric four-minute instrumental almost worthy of the mighty Zao. Which goes to show that, whilst they're not quite there yet, Bleeding Through do have the ability to become bleeding edge. Enjoy!

HERO DISHONEST - Let Your Poison Scream (2004)

Hero Dishonest has been together since 1999. Sweat, spit and bruises - short, fast and violent old school Hardcore/Punk. After three albums, several European tours and a couple seven inches the songs are getting shorter and faster than ever before. 4 chords, 40 seconds. They are played in Jazz Bars, Squats, basements and huge rock arenas... and they rocked them all. Like bad smell, line-up changes are inevitable... Members of the band are also involved in The Heartburns, I Walk The Line and Kakkahätä 77.

PROTESTANT - Antagonist EP (2009)

Protestant plays an interesting mix of genres that brings obvious comparisons to bands like Tragedy and His Hero Is Gone. But where these bands add a sludge element to their songs, Protestant replaces with more of a heavy-hitting urgency that shows their hardcore sensibilities. A lot of these tracks feel like what you get when hardcore kids fully embrace their metal side, and have the musical abilities to combine the two without pretension. If you’re looking for dark and brooding hardcore, Antagonist is your golden ticket! ;)

NIYAZOV - For Your Death Sing Here___ (2007)

The idea about this Serbian band was born back in 2004. when few friends wanted to do something a bit faster and more punk oriented than their main bands and started a side project. After two years of searching for the people with similar appetites, first line up is settled for rechearsal and what we got is one raw, full speed ahead hardcore band combining d-beat classics with fastcore and grind influence and no compromise political lyrics. "For your death sign here____" is our first promo material...and there you have it!

L7 - Hungry for Stink (1994)

L7 is well known as the top all-female alternative band! That crash you hear is the sound of stereotypes shattering. Hungry for Stink (my favorite L7 album), vaults the group into a larger category: Now L7 is one of the top hard-rocking bands of any kind, gender be damned. Yes, the group still writes feminist lyrics, depicting women's fear of rape in ''Can I Run'' and celebrating a female auto racer in ''Shirley.'' But after an album this strong, pigeonholing them simply as a ''women's band'' would be ridiculous.
*

BLACK SS - Foreign Object (2008)

Amazing! With BLACK SS, what you see is what you get. No bullshit, no posing, just pure hardcore. BLACK SS is a band whose only goal is to remind the world that hardcore is supposed to be the rawest, most honest form of punk. This band is an outlet for four pissed off people who have never, and never will, let go of the anger towards society that defined their youth; a middle finger to the mainstream that continues to infiltrate our scene and a punch in the face to all the empty fashionable hardcore. BLACK SS say what they mean and mean what they say and if you don’t like it, tough shit. For fans of: Slapshot, Negative FX, Kill Your Idols, & Negative Approach.

INITIAL STATE - Abort The Soul LP/CD (1994)

An evolution of the band Antischism, but far more moody and intense-Initial State combined tribal rhythms, corned by blasting thrash beats, dark and layered with guitar caked in feedback and noise to produce a inimitable hardcore explosion. Trade-offs of male and female vocals offering hope, scowling condemnation and pledging resistance with the political intent and weight of Antischism even further intensified. Re-mastered from its original 1994 release on Clearview Records.

.FUCKINGCOM - 7" EP

Stampeding Hardcore charge-waltzing back and forth between stripped-down, straight-ahead thrashing to pensive mid-tempo and fantastic female vocal breaks and edges sheened with melody and discordance. Five tracks that echo Vocalist Lyz and guitarist Kevin's time in Antischism and Initial State before this short-lived side project. Intresting... Sorry, I dont have a tracklist, material is ripping like A side & B side...

OSMI PUTNIK DVA - Treća Sofra (2007)

Osmi Putnik Dva (Serbian translation for the cult horror classic Aliens; Also there is rumour going that they’ve called themselves this way to make fun of the hard rock Croatian band Osmi Putnik) are also known under these aliases 8pII, Osmi Putnik 2, Osmi putnik drugi deo, 8p2, Osmi Putnik II. Band was founded in 1998 in Belgrade, Serbia, and very soon they have gained the reputation of one of the fastest bands on the hardcore/metal scene. They are well known for their speedy thrashing riffs and almost too loud to bear music onslaught all packed just in a few minutes in all of their songs, their lyrical themes are always about the horror movies and the creatures from them and also about black humour.

JESUS SKINS - Unser Kreuz Braucht Keine Hake (2002)

My favorite Oi! band! Mathäus, Markus and Lukas were friends since ever. Their live was always influenced from Christian spirits and god. They realize many "signs" in the holy bible which lead them to the result that Jesus and his ideas was important for the real Skinhead scene and so they founded the JESUS SKINS. Just a few years later we have a real movement in Germany from thousands of Skinheads calling themselves Jesus Skins. And they become more members every day. There exist also the JESUS SKINS ARMY which hunts fascist through the streets of German city's and beat them in the name of god. The Jesus Skins believe in the old testament and they pray : An eye for an eye. OI,OI, Amen! ;)

DEVOTCHKAS - Annihilation (2000)

Devotchkas was a four-piece American Oi! punk band from New York City. Their name is derived from the novel/movie A Clockwork Orange where “devotchka” is the Nadsat word for “girl” (originally from the Russian word of the same meaning). An all-girl group, the band was formed by three friends in 1996. The early period saw drummers come and go, including Jon from The Krays. Wanting a regular drummer, they eventually recruited Gabrielle to complete the line up. In 2000 they released their first LP. They were signed to Punkcore Records shortly after and released two more albums.

NUKLEAR - Vi Omges Av Skit (2006)

The swedish band Nukleär was formed in spring 2006 when three friends felt that they wanted to play ass kicking, killer stomping, super heavy and aggressive music. The members, André, Chrille and Olle, has all been playing together in various punk and metal bands during the past years. They came up with the band name "Nukleär" (which means Nuclear) cause they wanted to have a unique name in swedish that also told us something about the music they played. Nukleär play crust, not 100% crust though. Some grindparts and headbang parts are in there too. And a little blackmetal influence as well.

SCREAMING NOISE - Not Very Nice 7'' (1997)

Great japanese chaotic Punk! This is the first Screaming Noise 7" EP. Released by Eat Noise Records which I believe is the band itself. It's hard to tell exactly when it was released as the record doesn't state anything about it . I guess it dates sometime in 1996 or 1997 as the second one is from 1997. This is for fans of Disorder, Gai, Confuse, Chaos Channel, Chaotic Dischord and Dust Noise. If anyone has any information about them, I’d love to hear it! Thank you! ;)

VIIMEINEN KOLONNA - Tuhat Aurinkoa 7" (2008)

The centerpiece of this 7" is branded 82 HC. That should be a hint as to where VIIMEINEN KOLLONNA are coming from. But where '82 hardcore means something to us in North America, VIIMEINEN KOLLONNA mean it something more impactful on Scandinavian hardcore which is DISCHARGE's sound. The VK sound is still pure Finnish hardcore like their “Aistien Juhlaa” & “Irvikuva” albums, but now they’ve added an even more raw and brutal Hardcore/Punk. Fans of Propaganda-era Finnish hardcore punk take note. Pressing: 450 blue-white splatter vinyl/550 black. Available here on blue-white splatter. This is a co-release with Kämäset Levyt (Finland).
