Legendary Crust / Punk / Metal band Misery was formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1987. For a city that was known for bands such a The Replacements and Husker Du, this was a whole new take on the Minneapolis sound. Misery brought heavy Crust Punk into a town full of college-friendly bar bands. Misery have announced the release of their 20 Years of Misery compilation as a sliding scale download through Moshpit Tragedy Records. Originally featuring Al Long (NAUSEA) in its ranks, the band has toured the world and released many records including splits with Doom and Extinction of Mankind. A new album is currently in the works.*
