About Henry Fonda - MySpace info:
-
We play fast, we party hard. No trends, no haircuts, no bullshit. Our lyrics deal with politics, personal issues as well as scene shit and total nonsense. We dont limit this band to be a elitist and 100% serious group but like to inspire you to think and to act in a responsibel way that knows no borders between you and others. This collective is run the DIY way. No management, no booking agencies, no imperial merch, no fucking clothing line endorsments. Fuck all you leeches!!!

HELLNATION - Fucked Up Mess (2000)

Hellnation is a Powerviolence / Grindcore / Punk band from Kentucky. They have been playing since 1989. May your deities of choice have mercy on your soul if you fail to pick up this little platter of hardcore extremes. HELLNATION have been a scene mainstay for just about ever and this is definitely the pinnacle of their noise making endeavors. "Fucked Up Mess" has all of the elements that have come to define HELLNATION's music. Lyrically the band continue to pull no punches unleashing their venom on a variety of sociological and political issues but this isn't deep quasi-intellectualism for dweebs this is middle-finger-in-the-air punk rock fury.

BLOOD I BLEED / MASSGRAV - Split CD (2010)

Tentatively planned to be released on cult Sound Pollution label, here comes the CD version of the great split between BLOOD I BLEED and MASSGRAV. The all-new CD consists of unrelenting, ultra-fast songs by the Dutch masters of non-stop Powerviolence / Grind / Punk, BLOOD I BLEED, and MASSGRAV, the Swedish kings of fast Crust / Punk / Thrash fury. The bands have recorded respectively 12 and 13 songs each. If you are into Heresy, Intense Degree, S.O.B., MOB 47, Krigshot, Yacopsae, Hellnation, and Siege then this split is a must have!!! Full recommended!!!

BOMBSTRIKE - Born Into This (2007)

It's time for Swedish war machine!. Breaking Grind / Punk / Crustcore is what I would like to call it, for the music perfectly captures the atmosphere of the resulting all round devastation and carnage. Born Into This is an extremely pessimistic album where feelings of frustration, anger, and despair are given expression through the medium of music. The vocalist in particular, with his hysterical shouts and wails, simultaneously laments and mocks the irrevocable degradation of living standards. 12 crusty hardcore tunes that falls somewhere between Skitsystem and Wolfbrigade. Great stuff, tight with all of the brutality and intensity you could need.

SIEGE - Drop Dead (2006)

Siege formed in 1983 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist and saxophonist Kevin Mahoney, guitarist Kurt Habelt, bassist Hank McNamee, and drummer Rob Williams. Mahoney was from Braintree, while the rest of the band was from Weymouth. Siege recorded a six-song demo tape at Radiobeat Records in Kenmore Square on February 6, 1984. The demo was produced by Lou Giordano (who is also the producer of Hüsker Dü, Negative FX, SS Decontrol ect, ect... This songs + 3 songs from the ''Cleanse the Bacteria'' compilation are merged in summer 2006 and published on CD, called Drop Dead! Great release, really...

PHOBIA / SKRUPEL - Another Four Years of Murder (2006)

Blistering Grindcore from both bands. This Split features Phobia from California and Skrupel from Germany teaming up on one of the heaviest splits to come out in a long time. What can be said about Phobia that has not already been said? In my opinion this is both bands best stuff. The majority of the songs are at break neck speeds! Angry, political Grind Core with growling vocals. Prepare to have your face ripped off, no capitalists allowed! :) Fucking great & 100% recommended!! The power violence brainwashing continues!!!

CYNESS - Our Funeral Oration For The Human Race (2006)

Berlin's CYNESS second full-length avalanche of annihilation! 25 minutes of passionate aural pulverization that bring to mind innovators of the genre such as ASSUCK, TERRORIZER and Mentally Murdered-era NAPALM DEATH. Although technically proficient and as solid as a titanium-plated bulldozer, CYNESS demonstrate the awe-inspiring result of having a rage over technique attitude to playing Grindcore. This fucking album will crush your skull. While recording Our Funeral Oration For The Human Race it seems obvious that CYNESS has one fanatical intention in mind: to unleash as much genuinely destructive musical force as could possibly contained on one record!

D.R.I. - Tribute - We Dont Need Society (2002)

The DIRTY ROTTEN IMBECILES' history begins on May 2, 1982 in the city of Houston,TX. It was on this day that the musically aggressive quartet we now know as D.R.I. made their first Dirty Rotten noise and called it a song. For the past 28 years, D.R.I. has been the epitome of the aggressive, hardcore-punk thrash sound that we've all become accustomed to hearing. Throughout this time, they've been one of the few genuine underground bands to remain true to their pure punk roots. They're still thrashing just as hard, and just as loud as ever, continuing to overload our senses with the sound that is, and will always remain, uniquely D.R.I. 74 minutes of killer music!

CIVIL TERROR - Surrounded by Assholes (2008)

Ripping hardcore LP from this Dutch band... Continuing where their ‘Rising’ 7” on Crucial Attack records left off this 12” record features eighteen tracks of raging insanity! Reminds me a lot of Voorhees and even Out Cold. Just pounding, no bullshit hardcore that's clearly not trying to be part of any scene. Although they started out as a cockrockband called TURBO LOVER this band totally derailed after being in a traffic jam of unknown and unequalled length. It changed their lives and sexual preferences forever :)) The result was a new band called CIVIL TERROR and only one master: SPEED!!!
-

SOUTHSIDE STRANGLERS - Strangle You 7'' (2010)

This band is fucking nuts. Taking the best elements of so many different bands and combining them all into what I'm slightly reluctant to call a perfect band. So far, anyway. Apparently a taste of their upcoming LP, and if that is anything like this it's going to be one of the best albums of whatever year it actually comes out in. More on this record, this is a traditional single (A Side/B Side), both with that distinctive Virginia sound. Not that that is surprising, considering these guys share members with the likes of Government Warning!!!

PLEVOK / DISCHAOS - Split CD (2009)

Plevok (Ukraine) was formed in december 2008 by two punks Vitya and Jele. They both liked fast and hard Crust & Hardcore Punk music and decided to create band with two vocals. They are play raw and fast D-beat with elements of Hardcore and Thrash Metal. The band Dischaos (Brasil) was formed in the end of 2006. Their musical influences are from the roots of D-beat with Crust, like the following bands: Disclose, Anti Cimex, Discharge, Doom and Wolfbrigade. With direct and raw lyrics that speak about the chaos of the world we live in, about the angst and fear of people who are subjected by selfishness of the envoriment, about never ending wars sponsored by Capitalism in search of more power. Very solid split with two intresting bands!

HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH / SIDETRACKED - Split EP (2010)

Long delayed for too many reasons, this record is finally seeing the light of day! HOD recorded their tracks in fall of last year and they bring upon 5 short classics of fastcore perfection the way that only Hummingbird Of Death can do. Long running Washington band Sidetracked give us 9 songs in 2 minutes of brief, spiteful but hard hitting fast and aggressive hardcore, still somewhere between later 90's straight edge hardcore like Count Me Out combined with the fast power violence of Lack of Interest. Recommended!!!

HOLOKAUST - ST 7'' (2002)

Holokaust is a d-beat crust band from California / USA, formed in '99. and this is their first 7", released in 2002 by After the Bombs Records. This 7" delivers three tracks influenced by bands like Discharge, Joy Division, Anti-Cimex, Wolfpack, Disclose, Black Sabbath, Motörhead. You can notice the dark and depressive side of their music but not in a melodic way. The sound is just straight to your face. Vocals are rough and shouting, music wise guitar delivers a nice blending of Discharge, Varukers and the likes, bass and percussion are just great and decent and complete the whole picture.

A GLOBAL THREAT - Where The Sun Never Sets (2006)

A Global Threat has been a household name in the underground punk community for the past decade. Sharing the stage with bands like Dropkick Murphy's, Strike Anywhere, The Casualties and The Unseen, who AGT has also shared many members with, A Global Threat has been relentless on the road as well as in the studio. Having already released 3 full lengths through labels like Punk Core, ADD and Rodent Popsicle, AGT enters the BYO family with a loyal fanbase and a few notches on their spiked belt to boot! Combining old school punk rock with hardcore metal riffs, AGT has created an original sound that transcends their counterparts.

SUBCULTURE - Resist the Abuse (2007)

SUBCULTURE, Malta, started in Sept 2001, when Ray and JP, who at that time were both in local band Spirit of '77, decided to form SUBCULTURE. The musical direction is a blend of Anarcho Punk. ''Resist The Abuse'' is their 3rd CD album. The lyrics are based around the anarchist dream of a better world without the need of authorities to impose on us their failed undemocratic systems, tackles subjects regarding animal rights, politics, prostitution and our social daily problems. SUBCULTURE are also involves in animal rights activities and were also one of the organisators of the anti animal cruelty demonstration regarding animal circus. If you like this...

SOZIEDAD ALKOHOLIKA - Mala Sangre (2008)

It is not easy to classify Soziedad Alkoholika within a specific style of music. Thrash, Hardcore, Metal, Punk… The only sure thing is that its foundation has always been in its strength and speed, displaying a wide and varied selection of influences based on their particular style as is shown in their arrangements. With regard to their text, they have always been faithful to the music. Corrosive and explicit lyrics, full of social commitment and direct protest, have been one of its main characteristics. Rock Zone selected this record as the best album of the year in 2008.
-

BLACK SHIPS - Omens (2008)

''Omens'' is the debut Black Ships (Canada) LP and finds the band combining the traditional Hardcore song writing formula of aggressive chords and fast tempos with the conflicting slower, trudging sounds of Sludge. While not being as slow as traditional Sludge, tracks such as “No Eulogy” still manage to use the sludgy influence to drown the listener in long, droning chords which provide murky atmospheres and a perfect backdrop for the vocals. Hopefully the band will continue to guild on this promising start, further develop their sound and produce another great record with their sophomore.
-

APPALACHIAN TERROR UNIT - Armageddon Won't Be Brought By Gods... EP (2007)

Every once in a great while, a new band comes along with such intense fury that they capitvate all who hear and see them - APPALACHIAN TERROR UNIT is one such band. Hailing from the mountians of West Virginia, ATU belt out a thunderous chorus of eco-awareness and chastisement for mankind's destructive ways (or at least those who are in control). Musically they combine classic Punk, Crust, and a hint of Metal into a sound that's likened to later years NAUSEA, totally reinforced by the strong female vocals throughout.
-

RESIST - Resistography - 2 CD's (2008)

RESIST were first among the wave of new Anarcho Punk bands that swept over Portland, Oregon in the late 80's. Durign their brief existence they became a fixture of the local DIY / anarchopunk movement and released several records before personal problems tore the band apart in 1994. This discography CD includes studio versions of all previously released RESIST tracks plus outtakes and live tracks. The recordings contained herein are completely remastered from the original recordings are sound the way they were originally intended to be. A classic piece of North American anarcho-punk history finally given the attention it deserved.
-

FINAL CONFLICT - No Peace On Earth No Rest In Hell (2006)

Final Conflict is regarded as the first extreme Hardcore Punk band from the Los Angeles/ Orange County area. They incorporated a British-style hardcore punk rock at a time when many punk rock bands were breaking up or banned from local clubs. Final Conflict continued to gain a following during the mid-1980s, a time when the Punk scene was at its weakest popularity. During this time, Final Conflict has always stuck to its original Hardcore / Punk ideals. This is their last LP.

GREED KILLING - Conspiracy Theories (2010)

Greed Killing was formed in June 2007 by Sascha Lubenow, Sven Kleis and Evangelos Gizis.
