CHARVAKA - Demo EP (2009)

The band was formed in April 2008 (Bandung, Indonesia). Any personnel in Charvaka are individuals who have the character and background are different. Charvaka name itself comes from the name of a ideology which teaches philosophy of materialism and atheism, which evolved in India since the 6th century BC. The essence of this school of thought rely on the knowledge of the truth by rejecting everything that is metaphysical. Atheism in Charvaka not depart from philosophical speculation but a critique of the social order that is not fair, in the sense of a class of people who take advantage through spiritual dogmas.

MASSGRAVE / STORMCROW - Split 12" (2008)

Mass Grave hail from Vancouver, Canada, and have beein infesting the scene since 2004 with several records, and each one is always more brutal than the previous one. This is grind and even death metal fueled crust, think of Disrupt crossed with a pneumatic hammer: fast, violent, heavy! Bay Area Stormcrow are one of the best stench-core (that's the way it's called nowadays) bands in the world, along with bands like Sanctum, Hellshock or Limb from Limb they have taken Axegrinder, Hellbastard, Prophecy of Doom, Amebix, Deviated Instinct and more, swallowed them and then given birth to an even more brutal heavy sounding hellspawn!

DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR - Count Me In (2007)

Part of the Boston Hardcore scene, Death Before Dishonor originated in 2001 from the remains of Incision, Fuse, and League of Pain. ''Count Me In'' is the third studio album by Death Before Dishonor, that made a world of difference: no longer is every song a repetitive moshfest; no longer are the vocals the stuff that involuntary naps are made of. Instead, Death Before Dishonor sounds revitalized; they sound intense; they sound pissed. From the relentlessly aggressive vocals of Bryan Harris to the youth crew gang vocals that flesh them out, every song is a punishing foray into the type of hardcore that the band is perfectly suited.

THE FIGHT - Maldicion 12'' (2009)

Is my pleasure to announce the release of a long-awaited record from one of the most interesting and more active Polish bands of the last 5 years. The LP was released in the summer of 2009, now the time has come for the CD. Combining uncompromising socio-political message with raging Punk sound, not being afraid of more melodic parts at the same time. "MALDICION" includes 12 fast, perfectly sounding songs with passionate female vocals. During the four years of its existence The Fight evolved from melodic Hardcore / Punk towards fierce harcore, sometimes even crusty, sound.

The real Thrash like a old Kreator and Testament!

MOUTH SEWN SHUT - Doomed Future Today (2007)

Boston based DIY Eco Political Apocalyptic Hardcore Reggae Ska Crust Punk Attack!! In 2005, the DIY hardcore band Toxic Narcotic took a hiatus, and two of their members used to time to form up Mouth Sewn Shut. MSS drops the bomb in round two with their brutal fusion of musical genres with lyrics that analayze the apparent death of peace in the modern political purgatory in which we currently reside. Mixes up the formula again by dropping it onto a reggae beat. It sounds weird, but man, it's awesome. Blue with black splatter vinyl available on Profane Existence Records.

FROM ASHES RISE - Live Hell (2010)

Portland-based Crust / Hardcore masters From Ashes Rise, who played a similar vein of dreary d-beat crust as Tragedy and His Hero is Gone, called it quits in 2005 after a sturdy eight-year run. However, the band have returned with both a live album and their first shows in five years. On top of that, they have a new EP in the works. Recorded during the spring of 2005 in Los Angeles by Adam Lindsay-Smith, Live Hell features 13 of the band's best songs that capture From Ashes Rise in their prime. On top of that, they have a new EP in the works.

WARNING//WARNING - Demo K7 (2009)

For all fans of Japanese Noise Core: Warning Warning come from France, they includes members of Gasmask Terror and this is their demo tape recorded in 2009. The cover includes lyrics and brief explanation (lyrics of some tracks are in japanese) and music wise the eight tracks deliver a Japanese noise worship. This lasts for about 14 minutes and is the first recorded material of the band. and to a, should I dare, even better delight...the tape is great! Obvious love for CONFUSE and LEBENDEN TOTEN here, who can be upset about that? Noisy punk but with a more rocking approach rather than the unlistenable approach. Great use of reverb on the vocals and also tasteful use of a wah-pedal.

FEROCIOUS X - "Befria Från Vånda EP"

Ferocious X is a Noisy Crust band from Japan. They have recorded 2 7"s "Befria Från Vånda " and "Våga Tänka Själv" A demo called "5 Latars" and tracks on the compilation "Konton Damaging Ear Massacre" Lp. This 7" was released in Jan. 2006 on Overthrow Records as Overthrow - 040. Fast and raw! In fact this is FRIGORA minus the drumming. But Shin of FRAMTID plays drums on this recording so it's all good, Heard he took time off the band after this EP. The Equalizer is used well for this band as the shearing noise just rises as the Vocals are shouted in Svensk, As for the lyrics it's better hearing them in Svensk than in English... Interesting.

FUKPIG - Spewings from a Selfish Nation (2009)

FUKPIG featuring members of Anaal Nathrakh and Mistress, play a combination of Crust Punk / Grindcore / Black Metal. Formed in 2001 and dismembered in 2004, the band barely had time to perfect their sound. After reuniting in 2008 to record Spewings from a Selfish Nation, it’s easy to say they’re back in full force. This album is 30 minutes of intensity. At moments it’s as crusty as Tragedy, bloody as Anaal Nathrakh and black as Frost; it’s suffering from paranoid schizophrenia! Drunk, Misery and Migg lead the three man battalion and that’s exactly what you can expect.

M.E.H. - Here Comes The Mushroom Cloud Mother Fucker EP (2009)

About M.E.H.: This band brings you half assed bullshit Punk / Hardcore / Grindcore from deep in the heart of the bible belt. This music isn't for the easily offended (although offended comments would be appreciated as they make great quotes for later material) or those without a sense of humor. Basically we just get fucked up and write about shit that either pisses us off or amuses us. If you like it great; if not then don't listen to it asshole. In closing: Fuck god, fuck police, fuck the president, fuck your mother, and fuck you. Have a nice day with M.E.H.

MASSMORD / SHADES OF GREY - Split 12'' (2008)

One of Sweden's most powerful bands team up to deliver 11 tracks of bulldozing crustcore. MASSMORD have proven on their previous 2 LPs that they're a force to reckon with and on this split they lay down 6 even more powerful tracks than earlier and prove that they had no problem handling the transition from two to one singer. SHADES OF GREY make their vinyl debut on here and the only question you ask yourself is why they haven't done so sooner? 5 heavy ragers with dual vocals. A double dose of downtuned hardcore punk that's perfectly matched, both musically and ideologically. Both bands have excellent recording production with an absolutely huge sound.

SLICK 46 - I Don't Wanna (2007)

Slick 46 are a working class Street Punk band, that formed late 1998 in country New South Wales, in Australia. Their music is unashamedly old school with plenty of sing-a-long chorus & loud guitar riffs. Their influences are obvious - The Clash, Sex Pistols, Sham 69 and current days bands such as U.S. Bombs and Clit 45... Slick 46 has just released a new E.P. ''Young Love'' available now through Longshot Music & Contra Records. If you want to hear this album you can find it here. Nice stuff...

EMINENT SCUM - Demo (2009)

Eminent Scum started out winter 2008 as a Black Metal band called Discunt. In the idea of creating a representable black metal band hailing from the punk scene in Oslo. Soon, the slow paced Black Metal turned boring and as sean joined the band in favor of the old drummer, the beat was changed to vicious D-beat, Hardcore Punx the word! Then the May joined and all hell broke loose in a swirling hell of a Hardcore Trash-punk attack-inferno. The name was changed, and here it is; Eminent Scum..

THE SKUDS - Hellbound EP (2007)

The SKUDS is another great D.I.Y. underground Punk band. Beer-fuelled Crust / Hardcore hailing from Augusta, Georgia. THE SKUDS turn out fast, metal-edged house wrecking punk, reminiscent of ENGLISH DOGS but more US Metal / Punk influenced with solid/minimal chord progressions, gruff rhyming vox, good dynamic changes, and song structures. The band have announced plans to release an alternate CD version of their upcoming "Hellbound" seven-inch via Moshpit Tragedy Records. What can I say... Great!

DISLIKE - Ctrl (2006)

Dislike is a old Croatian band formed in 1997. I know this guys, great people... Long time ago Dislike played a whole different, crustier, simpler kind of grindcore. Today, they play more fast and brutal Grindcore, and as far as I'm concerned, they're one of the best Croatian grindcore bands. Požega kicks ass. And I might as well mention; one of the founding members was Kukatz (Sensless, Nonsense), only member of the quite well known Gruuthaagy project... This is total fucked up raw trash/crasher sound, so if you like your music to be clean and melodic stay away as far as posible! ;)

SUMMON THE CROWS - Scavengers Feast LP (2006)

All you crusty punks and Hardcore freaks that think there's too little metal in punk these days should fully focus your attention towards this peice of plastic. Norwegian Summon the Crows are offering a dark and powerful blend of crusty Hardcore and Metal - with the occasional riffing along the lines of classic Norwegian stuff. This is their first and last LP. The music reminds me a bit of Amebix & early Black Metal primitiwes... So this is what crusty-ass stenchcore sounds like... Great! I love them and therefore I recommend this album to everyone who enjoy hard and heavy Scandinavian noise!

RAISED BY DRUNKS / LINK - Split EP (2009)

Stockholm's global crusties RAISED BY DRUNKS pair up with Belguim's power crust band LINK on this long awaited but well worth the wait split EP made possible by several DIY labels from around the world. Swedish boozers RAISED BY DRUNKS include former members of 3-WAY CUM, SPITE, OPERATION and DISKONTROLL and play four songs of very aggressive and energetic Scandi crust with dual male vocals. LINK from Belgium also play Scandi inspired crust with some US power crust influences... They have a much more darker sound than RAISED BY DRUNKS playing two songs of epic crust with dual female and male vocals. A great split from two bands I hope to hear a lot more from in the future. Thanx go to Alex Distro - www.distroy.webs.com
