NATIONAL DISASTERS – And It Begins... CD (2009)

It's time for NATIONAL DISASTERS (Mexico). We start off with a dark apocalyptic mourning instrumental, which then segues into good modern crusty anarchist hardcore which is a lot harder to pin down than one might expect. It’s got elements of T-beat, some good tribal elements (hand-drumming… very nice indeed), some grind influences and blastbeats every once in a while. It’s a mixed-bag sound wise, but it works... it works very well, in fact. Lyrically we’re dealing with capitalism, globalization, and mankind’s mania for conquest. The songs are in Spanish....
